What: Green Rock Trail reroute

Description:
We now have a date for the trail day that had to be cancelled back in January. Join us to build a reroute around some very loose, severely eroded, unsustainable, fall-line trail. The new reroute is not only going to be sustainable (i.e. less maintenance and less impact on the land) but will also incorporate some really cool, technical rock features. There will be another trail day the following Sunday to wrap up work and/or work on the reroute section on the West side of Green Rock. Details below.
A trail reroute proposal from SNMTA was approved by the Bureau of Land Management for work on the Green Rock Trail in the Dona Ana Mountains. Join us to knock out this project in one day!
No experience is needed, everyone is welcome. Tools, water, snacks, and instruction will be provided. Please bring extra snacks, water bottle, and any other personal items you need to be comfortable and safe on the trails.
