A Mountain Race in the Gila National Forest
The Little Walnut Mountain Run is a 10 kilometer footrace crossing the Continental Divide on the shoulder of Eighty Mountain and climbing to the summit of Gomez Peak. The trails are rocky, steep, and beautiful. A 5 kilometer option is also available, it’s only half as rocky, steep, and beautiful.
