Did you know there is a trail stretching all the way from the Mexican border, in southern New Mexico, to the Canadian border?! It’s called the Continental Divide Trail.
Join the Southern New Mexico Trail Alliance and the Continental Divide Trail Coalition (CDTC) along the southern terminus of the Continental Divide Trail in the bootheel of southwestern New Mexico.
The day will include inventory, clean up, signing and light maintenance to the trail. Some training may also be included.
We will be near the town of Hachita, NM. This will be a great opportunity to meet the trail community in some of the more remote parts of southern New Mexico and visit with the CDTC, a partner group doing great work on trails.
More information will be coming soon. We will plan to organize a carpool. We could possibly do an overnight camping trip as well. Contact if you’re interested.
