The conversation continued the efforts of the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"http:\/\/snmta.org\/staging\/6353\/resources\/dona-ana-count-trail-summit\/\" target=\"_blank\">Do\u00f1a Ana County Trail Summit<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Trail Talk was an opportunity for land managers, planners, organizations, and&nbsp;trail&nbsp;users to discuss upcoming projects, overall plans and visions for&nbsp;trails, and future ideas for&nbsp;trails, collaboration, and connectivity, and to ask and answer questions about projects and new\/upcoming management changes that affect&nbsp;trails. Overall it was a great time for everyone to meet each other, discuss trails, and grow our local trail community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We learned a lot is going on with all kinds of trails and outdoor recreation in Las Cruces and  Do\u00f1a  Ana County. This includes trails in the City under the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Go Bond funding (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"http:\/\/www.las-cruces.org\/1892\/General-Obligation-Bond-Projects?fbclid=IwAR1SDF3LRXF0jo92SDkpIbV2fePajIRTl3IW1DfTYfhLkp92QGRXVDA82Fw\" target=\"_blank\">Go Bond funding<\/a>, a new <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.las-cruces.org\/CivicAlerts.aspx?AID=797\" target=\"_blank\">Parks and Rec master plan<\/a> for the City of Las Cruces, and new <a href=\"https:\/\/umontana.maps.arcgis.com\/apps\/webappviewer\/index.html?id=a415bca07f0a4bee9f0e894b0db5c3b6\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Wilderness Areas (opens in a new tab)\">Wilderness Areas<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We will continue this conversation with another Trail Talk in January 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A summary of the minutes can be viewed <a href=\"http:\/\/snmta.org\/staging\/6353\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/TrailTalk_07152019.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"here (opens in a new tab)\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"background-color: rgb(232, 234, 235);\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On July 15, 2019, SNMTA convened a Trail Talk at the Southwest Environmental Center in downtown Las Cruces.
